Job summary

Upbound Group, Inc. invites you to join its ten-week Summer Internship in Draper, UT, focused on software engineering.

You will work with a Product Management team to transform requirements into user stories and build full-stack software used in production environments. Ideal candidates are CS students graduating May 2027–May 2028 with a 3.2+ GPA, strong coding, collaboration, and communication skills, and demonstrated leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science with an expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Demonstrated interest in learning and growth.
• Strong coding, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in development tools like git and at least one programming language.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven leadership potential through academic achievement, internships, campus involvement, athletics, military service, or extracurricular activities.

• Prior internship experience in collaborative software development

Work Location

Ability to work in our corporate headquarters in Draper, Utah throughout the entire ten-week summer intern program.

Compensation

Summer Interns at Upbound Group are paid hourly in accordance with usual payroll procedures.

$23.00 per hour
