Job summary

camLine is seeking a Software Engineer to help shape software requirements discussions, support development efforts, and participate in code reviews for industrial software solutions. You will contribute to the rollout of our manufacturing automation software, working with global customers and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes Java application development, SQL data handling, and modern software practices in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience developing Java applications through coursework, internships, or professional work.
Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle).
Understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements.
Recent graduates and early-career engineers encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Analyze software requirements and contribute to technical design discussions.
Implement and test solutions.
Participate in design and code reviews with the team.
Develop for high availability and performance.
Collaborate with on-site and off-site resources as needed.
Work independently while coordinating with senior engineers.
Collaborate with global customers on deployments, upgrades, and issue resolution.
