Job summary

Creospan is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong Java background to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise applications. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability across services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing / SDET / quality engineering.
• Hands-on Java development with knowledge of Core Java, OOP, collections, multithreading.
• Strong REST API testing expertise and automation experience.
• Experience building automation frameworks using Java.
• Familiar with CI/CD integration and version control (Git).
• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright for UI testing.
• Experience with JUnit/TestNG, Maven or Gradle, and REST Assured or Postman.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, test design, regression testing and defect lifecycle.
• Experience testing RESTful services, microservices, and distributed apps.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
• Experience developing automation frameworks using Java.
• Strong experience with REST API automation and testing.
• Experience with REST Assured and/or Postman.
• Strong understanding of JUnit, TestNG, or similar testing frameworks.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Experience testing RESTful services, microservices, and distributed applications.
