Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a frontend engineer to own the design, delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of frontend services within the assigned engineering domain. You will translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical designs and build accessible interfaces while contributing to the design system.

Join a role reporting to the Store Support Office in Phoenix, AZ with a hybrid work arrangement requiring in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI/frontend engineering experience.
• Production experience with React or equivalent and TypeScript.
• Experience with Next.js or equivalent, design systems, web performance, accessibility, and automated testing.

• Own the design, delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of one or more frontend services or feature areas within the assigned engineering domain.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical designs through detailed analysis and investigation.
• Build accessible, high-performing interfaces and contribute to the shared design system.
• Explain technical designs and recommended changes to engineering, Product, and Design partners and ensure shared understanding.
• Provide technical guidance and training to associate and intermediate engineers; may delegate work and review work products.
• Operate assigned services independently and seek leadership guidance for decisions with broader architectural, financial, security, or organizational implications.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI or frontend engineering experience.
• Production experience with React or equivalent and TypeScript.
• Experience with Next.js or equivalent, design systems, web performance, accessibility, and automated testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with adjacent technical disciplines relevant to the assigned engineering area.
• Track record of providing training or technical guidance to other employees.
