Job summary

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience coding solutions and unit testing to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • 3+ years experience designing/developing/modifying architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
  • Proven experience with Java and Kotlin Android applications in production-level environments.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Designs and maintains architecture components, interfaces, and solution enablers while preserving architecture integrity.
  • Mentors other engineers and coaches CI/CD practices and automation tooling.
  • Refines stories, defines requirements, and estimates work for delivery lifecycle.
  • Performs spikes or proofs of concept to mitigate risk or explore ideas.
  • Automates release activities.
  • Designs and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).

Job Description

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Enterprise Payments Technology (EPT) and be part of a dynamic and fun team with amazing leadership. EPT is a global payments team which provides a wide range of financial platforms and services. EPT is made of core payment business technology functions including Merchant Solutions, Card Issuing, Digital Wallets, Transfers, Liability Payments and Settlement. EPT facilitates the movement of roughly $693 trillion through the processing of approximately 18.8 billion transactions a year to more than 66 million consumer/small business relationships and 2 million wealth management clients. The Merchant Business Software Suite (MBSS) team is responsible for the delivery of a largescale, multi-year program to provide a scalable and customizable point-of-sale software across a broader set of industry verticals. The initiative arises from a recent strategic acquisition to broaden the Bank's Merchant Services capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
