Job summary

Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) seeks a Software Engineer III to join the Traverse application development team. You will support the full product stack, collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Owners, and senior engineers to deliver scalable software solutions.

You will leverage AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), microservices, and modern languages (Node.js, Python, Java, React) while integrating AI/LLM APIs into production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of application programming across front-end, back-end, and database queries with full SDLC experience.
• 3+ years of full-cycle application development (design, development, delivery).
• 1 year with Agile, Scrum and CI/CD.
• 2 years of experience using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), microservices, and containerized architectures; Node.js, Python, Java, React.
• Experience with AI/LLM APIs in production, knowledge of RAG, vector databases, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with AI coding tools like GitLab Duo, Copilot, Cursor IDE.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support software development of solutions across the full product stack.
• Collaborate with product owners and SMEs to analyze business needs and provide sustainable engineered solutions.
• Drive creation and modification of product portfolio components in line with ARC standards.
• Develop applications using industry best practices; adopt new methodologies for flexibility and agility.
• Stay current with development tools and share knowledge with stakeholders.
