Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a software engineer to design and develop scalable solutions. You will work with product management, UX, and business teams on high-level designs and project discovery. You will diagnose production issues, apply root cause analysis, and translate requirements into robust technical implementations.

You will contribute to CI/CD, telemetry, tests, and secure coding practices. The role emphasizes delivering components on time, guiding engineering directions, and fostering knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 2 years experience, or 4 years experience in software engineering.
• Experience in Agile environments and delivering software end-to-end.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and Java/JavaScript/Python/C#.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting.
• Familiarity with API design and telemetry for performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software design, development, and delivery within Agile environments
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
• Expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting
• Knowledge of API design, platform development, and component services
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with telemetry implementation and software performance monitoring
