We’re Cleerly – a healthcare company that’s revolutionizing how heart disease is diagnosed, treated, and tracked. Founded in 2017 by one of the world’s leading cardiologists, our growth is supported by $223M Series C funding in 2022 and an additional $106M Series C extension in December 2024. Most teams work remotely with optional office access in Denver, CO; New York, NY; Dallas, TX; and Lisbon, PT, with some roles requiring on‑site presence.
Cleerly’s AI‑driven precision diagnostic solutions quantify and characterize atherosclerosis—plaque buildup—in each heart artery, supporting value‑based care and helping prevent heart attacks. We collaborate digitally, using Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence/Jira, and Zoom Video. While mostly remote, travel is required occasionally (typically monthly or quarterly) and may be up to 90 % of the time for sales or externally facing roles.
We’re seeking a Software Engineer 3 to drive key technical initiatives within our computational imaging pipeline. In this high‑impact role you’ll own the systems that deploy, scale, and monitor our regulated AI algorithms end‑to‑end, influence architecture, ensure medical quality and performance standards, mentor peers, and shape our technical culture.
You will join our expert Computational Imaging team focused on improving the quality and clinical value of medical images. We develop powerful software that corrects artifacts, standardizes data, and ensures precision before final analysis, ensuring reliability and accuracy of Cleerly’s regulated products.
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law, ordinance, or regulation.
The base salary range varies by location and aligns with market benchmarks. Candidates in higher‑cost labor markets (California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, DC) are positioned in the middle‑to‑high end of the range; other U.S. locations are positioned in the low‑to‑middle end. Final compensation is determined based on location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
This role is eligible for a 15 % target annual bonus. Stock options, paid benefits, and employee perks are part of your total rewards.
