iFOLIO Cloud, a cloud computing company, powers digital engagement with a triple-patented platform and SOC 2 Type 2 certification. We are expanding the ATL tech team to build backend APIs, frontend apps, and the infrastructure that ties them together, collaborating with product, design, and QA under SOC 2 controls.

As a Software Engineer III, you will deliver AI-driven product roadmap, develop backend services in PHP (Laravel) and Node.js, and create performant frontend features with React.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional full-stack software development experience in SaaS environments.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, PHP (Laravel), and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with SendGrid and Twilio for large‑scale email and SMS campaigns, including delivery tracking and webhook handling.
• Cloud: AWS services and operating high‑volume, time‑sensitive email/SMS integrations (SendGrid, Twilio).
• Data management with relational databases (MySQL/Eloquent ORM) and MongoDB.
• Tooling: containerization (Docker/ECS), CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins), and cloud security standards.
• Solid understanding of security best practices for cloud applications and third‑party API integrations.
• Problem solving: advanced debugging, performance‑tuning, and production troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Deliver AI driven product roadmap. Build and maintain backend services in PHP (Laravel) and Node.js; develop frontend with React (Redux Toolkit).
• Messaging Infrastructure: Manage large-scale email and SMS campaign infrastructure, Sendgrid & Twilio webhooks, including delivery tracking, bounce handling, and event webhooks (opens, clicks, opt-outs).
• Cloud: Follow iFOLIO dev practices for AWS architecture (CloudFront, S3, ECS), CI/CD pipelines, and maintain scalability and cost efficiency.
• Platform Health & Quality: Write unit/integration tests, monitor performance, maintain runbooks, and resolve production issues in line with SLA commitments.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Partner with product, design, QA to translate requirements into technical solutions. Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews. Provide weekly team progress reports.

About this Position

Engineering leads the charge on iFOLIO’s cloud computing platform to deliver product roadmap, and maintain our innovative software that is triple-patented and SOC 2 Type 2 Certified. Now we are building out the ATL tech team for this platform. You'll work with engineering across backend APIs, frontend applications, and the infrastructure that ties them together, collaborating with product, design, and QA, while operating under SOC 2 controls.

Software Engineer III Responsibilities:
