Job summary
Onyx Point, LLC. is seeking a senior software engineer with TS/SCI clearance to lead design, development and optimization of complex software systems. The role requires extensive experience with big data technologies, Java and Python, and deep understanding of distributed computing.
The ideal candidate will hold a CS degree, or equivalent SWE experience, and be prepared to work in high-security environments supporting multiple DoD programs. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance required (U.S. citizenship)
- 14+ years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 extra SWE years may substitute for degree
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features
- Debug existing software and correct defects
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance standards
- Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning
