Job summary

TJ Consulting Group is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems at Ft. Meade, MD.

You will work individually or in teams, review components, and apply appropriate methodologies, with a focus on hardware/software tradeoffs and system-level requirements. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, debugging, coding new features, and leading project activities as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive software development experience.
• Experience debugging and improving software systems and docs.
• Ability to design, code, test and integrate software components.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and system design.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance needs.
• Debug existing software and fix defects in a timely manner.
• Design, code, and modify software to add or improve features.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems and environments.
• Develop data queries and create software/system documentation.
• Lead teams appropriate to the development process in use.
