Job summary

Safran is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the architecture, design, development, testing, and integration of RAVE In-flight Entertainment software features. You will build automated tests, triage issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver quality, on schedule.

The role emphasizes ownership of software quality, engagement in technical discussions, and adherence to SDLC processes within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with C/C++ on Linux/Unix, embedded, or Windows.
• Familiar with Qt/QML, Node.js, Golang, React, TypeScript, Python.
• Knowledge of Docker, MQTT, microservices, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, test, and integration of software features.
• Build and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, system-level).
• Triage, debug, and resolve issues, ensuring quality.
• Provide accurate estimates and deliver with transparency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on design and approvals.
• Follow and improve SDLC and organizational processes.
