Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
• Experience coding in a large corporate environment with modern languages and database querying.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with ability to validate AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including security considerations.
• Proficiency with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Exposure to CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream/downstream systems.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve value and automation.
• Performs technical troubleshooting for basic complexity issues.
• Gathers and analyzes large data sets to inform secure, stable application development decisions.
• Learns and applies system processes and skills for secure, stable code and systems.
