Job summary

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in Jacksonville, FL to design and develop secure backend components across distributed systems, focusing on authentication, fraud prevention, and risk assessment modules.

You will implement MFA, OAuth, and identity federation, build secure RESTful APIs, and collaborate with fraud and security teams to deploy compliant, scalable solutions for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Four years of experience in Java backend development, authentication/authorization, and fraud risk logic.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Linux/Unix, Git, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure backend services in Java across distributed systems.
• Implement MFA, OAuth, and token lifecycle for identity security.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs and ensure proper authentication.
• Collaborate with fraud, risk, security, and infrastructure teams to deploy secure solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and vendor integrations related to identity and payment security.
