Job summary

LegalShield is seeking a Software Engineer II for a fully remote, full-time role in the United States. Exempt under FLSA, with compensation of $90k–$140k and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will design, develop, and maintain software across frontend (React/HTML/JS) and backend (C#/.NET, Node.js), and collaborate with IT Operations and product teams. Expertise with AI coding tools is encouraged to accelerate delivery while preserving quality.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of industry software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in frontend or backend technologies as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Frontend coding for web/mobile using React/HTML/JS.
• Backend coding with C#/.Net and Node.js.
• Write reliable, tested code with unit tests and CI/CD.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders on architecture and design.
