Job summary

LegalShield is hiring a Software Engineer II for remote work in the United States. You will design, develop, and maintain software across frontend and backend, leveraging React, Node.js, and C#/.NET. You’ll use agentic AI coding tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring code quality and security.

The role requires 2–5 years’ experience and a CS degree or equivalent. Expect collaboration with product teams, adherence to modern dev practices, and ongoing learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of industry experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Frontend-focused engineers should be proficient in React, React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, or similar web tech.
• Backend-focused engineers should be proficient in C#/.Net, or similar OO languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software products and systems that support business needs.
• Contribute to requirements, architecture, and design; work independently as needed.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA to deliver features.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and alignment with requirements.
