Job description

Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements moderately complex systems components, software tools, applications, and utilities under moderate supervision using established procedures on MuleSoft Anypoint. Work involves varied and sometimes challenging tasks with limited responsibility. Makes moderately complex modifications to existing software to fit specific needs and configurations. Maintains program libraries and technical documentation. Assists in planning, scheduling, and implementation. Initiates corrective actions to stay on schedule.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Applies fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the field of specialization.
  2. Creates and delivers daily communication updates to management and internal teams regarding task status.
  3. Develops accurate task definitions, estimates, and schedules for own assignments.
  4. Prepares and maintains problem logs and communicates status to analysts or users.
  5. Collaborates with Business Systems Analysts on business and technical design of end-user applications.
  6. Assists with new system implementation and integration.
  7. Verifies installed systems to ensure they meet user requirements.
  8. Participates in coding, data structure creation, job stream development, and modifications, adhering to departmental standards and methodologies.
  9. Develops test cases, plans, and environments.
  10. Conducts unit and system testing for new or modified programs.
  11. Submits work for review and participates in peer reviews.
  12. Ensures application of sound programming and design techniques.
  13. Prepares and maintains documentation per standards.
  14. Resolves daily operational problems independently and guides team members in problem-solving.
  15. Stays updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development.
  16. Performs additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Experience with development tools like IntelliJ, MuleSoft, Git, Postman, RDBMS, and utilities.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of program design, coding, testing, and documentation.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying integration code using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Excellent communication, customer focus, and interpersonal skills, with ability to work remotely with dispersed teams.
  • Logical thinking and quick learning of new systems and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft-based integration architectures is highly desirable.
  • Analytical and conceptual skills for technical needs assessment and problem-solving.
  • Good judgment, especially when supervision is limited.

Physical Environment/Demands:

  • Some travel may be required.
