Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for an onsite role in Fridley, Minnesota. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software for Pelvic Health medical devices, contributing to regulated, high-reliability systems that improve patients’ lives.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience (or a Master’s with 0+ years), strong Java skills, and experience with web/mobile applications in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 0+ years of experience.
• Experience with Java and object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience developing web/mobile or software in regulated/healthcare environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements software components and tools.
• Defines system design requirements and ensures improvements are implemented and monitored.
• Works in Agile environments to deliver high-reliability software for medical devices.
