Job summary

RTX is seeking technically skilled software professionals to design, develop, test, and deliver software for advanced aerospace and defense systems. You will join Agile teams with engineers, architects, and leaders to drive multi-tiered architectures and modern DevSecOps practices.

The role emphasizes software lifecycle practices for defense projects, including CI/CD pipelines and secure coding standards. A Master’s in STEM and ability to obtain security clearance are required, with onsite work

• Experience with Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps.
• Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
• Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++, Python, Ada, or similar.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

• Knowledge of Red Hat and Linux Operating Systems.

• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of common skills for software application development

• Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
