GTSC seeks a Software Engineer, Level 2, to work on-site in Hanover, MD. The role requires 14 years of SWE experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with an option for degree substitution by additional SWE years.

Active TS-SCI with polygraph is required. Responsibilities include designing, debugging, and integrating software into complex systems, leading teams, and ensuring documentation and development standards are followed.

Qualifikationen

• 14 years experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• If no degree, four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate software installation and monitor equipment to meet specs.
