Job summary

GTSC seeks a Software Engineer, Level 0, for an on-site role in Hanover, Maryland. Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph is required, and the position offers a competitive salary in the range of $110,000-$129,000 per year.

Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, debugging, coding, integrating software into new or modified environments, and contributing to documentation and process improvements. Four years of SWE experience may substitute for a degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• If no degree, four years of SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
