Job summary

TransCore, LP in Houston, TX is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our team. You will provide day-to-day and on-call support for Infinity production installations, troubleshoot, and ensure systems run according to specifications.

You will develop and optimize stored procedures, reports, and scripts, analyze data flow, and participate in developing, testing and deploying software components to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6–9 years of software development in .NET technologies.
• Experience with SQL Server (2008/2012) and T-SQL.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, WCF, HTML, JavaScript.
• Strong scripting with PowerShell or Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line software support for Infinity installations.
• Develop software using .NET framework and SOA Windows apps.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Troubleshoot, test, and deploy software components as needed.
• Collaborate with Production, Development, and QA environments.
