Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to deliver web and mobile applications. You will break larger projects into phased tasks, design and implement well-tested APIs, and navigate large codebases.

You will monitor metrics, escalate issues, contribute to on-call operations, and participate in team development activities while communicating effectively with teammates and stakeholders to build scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

1.5+ years software engineering experience with web/mobile apps and APIs.
Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue, and mobile apps with React Native.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

They should be able to design and implement well-tested, extensible solutions, navigate and debug large codebases, review code, communicate effectively, and have a related bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
