Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is hiring a software engineer to break down large projects into phased tasks and collaborate with engineering, product, design, and analytics teams. You will ship web and mobile apps and design scalable APIs, while writing clear, tested code and contributing to code reviews.

Join a team that monitors metrics, supports on-call responsibilities, and helps develop the engineers through coaching and interviewing. A related bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1.5 years of software engineering experience, with experience shipping web and mobile apps and designing, developing, and launching scalable APIs.
• Candidates should write clear, tested, extensible code; navigate large codebases; debug and review code; seek feedback; and communicate effectively, with a related bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
