Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to break projects into phased tasks and collaborate with engineering, product, design and analytics teams. You will monitor metrics, escalate issues, participate in on-call work, and contribute to team development activities.

The role requires shipping web and mobile apps and designing, developing, and launching scalable APIs, with strong coding discipline and the ability to navigate large codebases and perform thorough debugging and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web and mobile apps and designing, developing, and launching scalable APIs.
• Write clear, well-tested, extensible code; navigate large codebases; debug and review code; seek feedback; communicate effectively.
