Weeghman & Briggs LLC is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to support critical government initiatives at Ft. Gordon, GA.

This full-time, onsite role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and hands-on software development across the full software lifecycle. You will analyze requirements, design, code, debug, and integrate software with cross-functional teams while ensuring contract and security standards are met.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Experience supporting government or DoD programs.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 14+ years as SWE; Bachelor's in CS or related field; 4 years additional SWE exp may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments.
• Analyze requirements and translate into actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Ensure compliance with contract and security standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment.
