Job summary

Worky is seeking a Software Engineer II to join a focused development team at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The role requires building software tools and interfaces for the SEEK EAGLE evaluation, contributing across the software lifecycle in a disciplined environment.

The ideal candidate has strong C#, Vue/React/Angular web skills, MVC, EF, SQL Server, and hands-on experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps, plus clear communication and ownership of outcomes.

Qualifications

• Citizenship is required due to sensitive requirements.
• Active Secret security clearance, or ability to obtain one.
• 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in CS/SE (or 2 years with a Bachelor's)
• Experience with Web development using C#, Javascript (Vue, React, Angular), ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, Ajax.
• Familiar with MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server.
• Familiar with Visual Studio and TFS/Azure DevOps.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ownership of work.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of JSEAS in NOMS for USAF, USN, and UK MOD analysis and mission planning.
• Collaborate with other developers to analyze, estimate, design and implement features.
• Contribute to the Air Force SEEK EAGLE program through code and design documents.
• Build code meeting established requirements both individually and in a team.
• Document across the Software Development Life Cycle in Azure DevOps.
• Plan unit testing and code validation activities.
• Participate in iterations, sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Peer-review code and documentation to ensure quality standards.
