Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies division is seeking Software Engineers to support a mission at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. You will develop and maintain internal web applications and user interfaces using .Net, Vue, and modern JavaScript libraries, participating in all SDLC phases.

The role spans Junior to SME levels, with responsibilities across design, development, and integration of new technologies for national defense programs.

Qualifications

• HTML, XML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS fundamentals.
• Experience with Web API or SOA frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement new software functionality using industry-standard frameworks.
• Build web APIs using modern frameworks such as .NET Core or Node.js.
• Develop, debug, and test software enhancements and/or new products.
• Contribute to documentation and participate in project planning and reviews.
• Ensure designs and implementations comply with guidelines and standards.
