Job summary

Modular Mining Systems seeks a Software Engineer II to design, build, and operate mission critical services powering Komatsu's automation products. You will contribute to distributed autonomous services like machine coordination, navigation, and safeguarding, partnering with product, hardware, and operations teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive scalable architecture, and uphold quality and operational excellence for mine sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills and OO design patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Unit/integration/contract testing and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate mission critical software services powering automation products.
• Lead definition and delivery of small features across distributed autonomous services.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence technical decisions.
