OpenEye, a cloud video platform company, seeks a Software Engineer II to join the Apex team and contribute to development and maintenance of the Apex Server application. You will collaborate with leadership and product teams to deliver reliable software, write unit tests, and continually improve code quality.

Qualified candidates have a BS in CS or related field and 2–5 years of experience, with strong object-oriented skills, rapid learning, and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and development practices.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops software including features, modifications, bug fixes and unit tests.
• Reviews development requests and determines efficient implementation.
• Interfaces with departments and customers to gather information.
• Collaborates to resolve customer issues using the software.
• Mentors other developers and shares knowledge as needed.
• Communicates tasks and ideas clearly to teams and stakeholders.
• Analyzes inputs to meet requirements and ensure quality.
