Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Developer II for the SMGS Planning Tools team in Seattle, WA. You will contribute to building next-generation GTM platform, analyze requirements, and implement scalable applications for the field.

The role emphasizes design, problem solving, and collaboration across teams, with opportunities to work on AWS technologies and improve productivity, reliability, and monitoring in a startup-like environment in the cloud.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customization
• Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architecture solutions
• Support cross systems and related integrations across Sales Planning Domain
• Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
• Research and find opportunities to utilize AWS best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring
