Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the AWS business by building greenfield solutions using native AWS services. You will work on large-scale projects in an agile environment and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver scalable platforms.

The role requires a customer-obsessed mindset, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for innovation within a startup-like culture focused on speed to market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable platforms enabling AWS to sell new products and services with the necessary speed to market.
• Collaborate with multiple teams in an agile environment to deliver large-scale solutions.
