Best Egg is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and support features powering its consumer financial platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver robust software and continuously improve systems and tooling.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional development experience in Java and/or Python, strong knowledge of databases, and practical CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional development experience with Java and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of relational/NoSQL schemas and query patterns.
• Experience delivering production-quality features in modern languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver software iteratively within Agile teams.
• Write unit tests and strengthen test coverage.
• Interpret requirements, document technical decisions, and troubleshoot issues.
• Support deployments and contribute to operational readiness.
