Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) team in Washington state. You will tackle ambiguous business problems and translate them into scalable, reliable systems powering billions of products globally.

You will design, build, and re-architect multi-tier services, apply OO design, algorithms, and data structures, and work with product teams to deliver high-impact solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• You will solve ambiguous business problems and map them to elegant technical solutions.
• You will use object-oriented concepts, algorithms and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale.
• You will design, launch, and re-architect multi-tier systems with large amounts of data.
• You will quickly adapt to fast-paced development environment with bias towards simple and extensible code.
