Job summary

Reflexive Concepts, LLC is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team in Laurel, MD. You will support a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications across modern and legacy stacks, with emphasis on Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle databases.

The role requires hands-on development, debugging, deployment support in Linux/Docker environments, and collaboration with stakeholders in an Agile setting. A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of software development experience; 10 years may substitute for degree.
• Experience with Java development and Oracle databases, including SQL development.
• Experience with Angular and Linux, Docker for containerized deployment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and modernize backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and troubleshoot software with JavaScript and other required languages.
• Work with Oracle databases and SQL for data interactions.
• Learn and apply additional languages, frameworks, and tools as mission priorities evolve.
• Collaborate with customers, developers, and systems engineers to deliver solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and participate in sprint planning and technical discussions.
• Support deployments, troubleshooting, and operations in Linux and Docker environments.
• Help ensure security, maintainability, and reliability of enterprise applications.
