Textron Systems Electronic Systems is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, C++, Java, and Python. You will work with embedded hardware, GPUs, and FPGA interfaces in a hands-on lab environment and contribute to UI development and AI-enhanced capabilities. You should have a BS in CS or CE with 2+ years of experience and an active U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Strong understanding of object oriented design and modern software development practices.
• Familiarity with RF concepts is a plus.
• Signal processing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using languages such as C#, C++, Java, and Python.
• Work with embedded systems, including microcontrollers, GPUs, and FPGA interfaces.
• Develop intuitive graphical user interfaces for complex systems.
• Integrate AI technology into our product capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers in a hands-on lab environment.
• Debug and troubleshoot using industry standard lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, digital oscilloscopes).
