Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) team in Seattle. You will design fault-tolerant controllers that enable Kubernetes to manage AWS resources at scale, and contribute to code generation, testing, and release automation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop new service controllers and ensure upkeep of existing ones to facilitate AWS resources integration with Kubernetes.
• Enhance code generation, testing infrastructure, and automation pipelines for controller development, testing, and releases.
• Engage with the community to gather insights and requirements and collaborate on design/implementation of upcoming controllers and features.
• Build tools and systems around our controllers to improve user experience and manage AWS resources in Kubernetes environments.
