Job summary

Dignitas Technologies, a By Light Company, seeks a Mid-Level Software Engineer to develop software components from established requirements and standards. You will design, code, test, and integrate modules within defined budgets and schedules, collaborating with senior engineers to ensure quality and compliance.

The role emphasizes software design, debugging, and documentation across LVC training applications, with possible security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a software developer.
Experience designing and developing software following established requirements and specifications.
Maintains and modifies existing software with minimal supervision.
Experience developing new functionality and enhancing existing software.
Experience testing software per test procedures and resolving discrepancies.
Experience debugging, troubleshooting and fixing software issues.

Responsibilities

Designs and develop software functionality based on established requirements and specifications.
Prepares technical data and presentation material to support design reviews
Participate in and conduct software peer reviews to validate adherence to coding standards.
Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process.
