Job summary

Dignitas Technologies, a By Light company, is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer II in Orlando, FL to design, develop, and integrate software components using established requirements and processes. You will contribute to system enhancements, perform debugging, testing, and participate in peer reviews within a collaborative MS&T environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 4 years of software development experience, proficiency in C#, C++, or Java, and familiarity with Unity/Unreal Engine and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as software developer.
• Designs and develop software applications following established requirements and specifications using the appropriate tools.
• Maintains and modifies existing software functionality and enhancing existing software.
• Experience testing developed software in accordance with specified test procedures and resolving identified discrepancies and deficiencies.
• Experience debugging, troubleshooting and fixing reported software issues.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops software functionality based on established requirements and specifications
• Prepares technical data and presentation material to support design reviews
• Participate in and conduct software peer reviews to validate adherence to established coding and implementation standards
• Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process
