Job summary

Immuta Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer II to independently deliver moderately complex features on the Request App Team. You will design backend services, build Angular frontend components, and contribute to deployment and performance improvements.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to translate customer needs into scalable, secure solutions, writing tests and participating in code reviews as part of a growing, hybrid-work environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building APIs/services with NestJS or Node.js.
• Knowledge of relational databases, REST APIs, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs using TypeScript/NestJS.
• Build frontend features in Angular and connect to design-system components.
• Own features and workstreams from design through deployment and follow-up improvements.
• Develop workflow-driven functionality for data access requests and approvals.
• Improve performance by optimizing code, queries, and service interactions.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
