Job summary

Amazon’s WorkSpaces Applications team designs, builds, and operates scalable services that stream SaaS applications to customers at massive scale. You will contribute to resource provisioning, reliability, and performance while collaborating with engineers, scientists, and product managers to deliver secure, fast, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience on new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy software features for Workspace Applications infrastructure and services.
• Build scalable systems that manage resource provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• Own operational excellence for your components, including monitoring, alarming, and on-call support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, science, and product management.
• Continuously improve code quality, system performance, and development processes.
• Write clean, maintainable code that scales to handle large-scale workloads.
