Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in full-stack coding with Java, Spring Boot, REST API, Kafka, Microservices, React.js.
• Experience in a large corporate environment and with database querying languages.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Knowledge of agile methods including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Awareness of cloud technologies such as AWS and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Writes secure, high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools to improve value realized by automation.
• Applies technical troubleshooting to resolve basic complexity problems.
• Gathers and analyzes large data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development decisions.
• Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for secure, stable code and systems.
