The position offers exposure to cutting-edge 5G, LTE, embedded systems, cloud integration, and remote device management technologies. Working closely with distributed engineering teams and technology partners, you will participate in architecture discussions, integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. This hands‑on role includes extensive laboratory validation using real devices, carrier networks, RF environments, and network simulators to ensure product readiness and reliability. Candidates seeking a software-focused position at the intersection of wireless networking, edge computing, and cloud services will find this opportunity particularly rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance middleware, APIs, and integration services connecting wireless edge devices to cloud management platforms.
- Implement and support device provisioning workflows, configuration management templates, telemetry collection systems, and firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) update mechanisms.
- Develop, extend, and troubleshoot device management protocols including TR‑069, TR‑369 (USP), and SNMP.
- Build and maintain Northbound RESTful APIs and gRPC interfaces for carrier and enterprise customer integrations.
- Develop production-quality software using C, C++, Go, or Python on Linux-based embedded and server platforms.
- Contribute to data path processing, connection management, device orchestration, and telemetry systems.
- Execute end-to-end integration, validation, and regression testing in a real-world laboratory environment.
- Investigate and resolve software, networking, and hardware integration issues occurring on live devices.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external technology partners on architecture reviews, interface design, and interoperability initiatives.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex integration defects across device, network, and cloud layers.
- Analyze packet captures, system logs, diagnostic outputs, and telemetry data to resolve performance issues.
- Optimize latency, throughput, connection stability, and standards‑compliance across wireless platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including API specifications, interface control documents, design artifacts, and test plans.
- Support scalable engineering practices and knowledge sharing to enable long-term platform growth and maintainability.
