BILL is seeking a Software Engineer for the Growth team to enhance first-time experiences, improve customer journeys, and impact revenue through engineering solutions. You will contribute to Subscription and Monetization features and collaborate with product managers to shape product direction.

The role focuses on scalable SaaS applications, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering value in a fast-paced fintech environment. Join BILL to help redefine financial automation for businesses.

Formación

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related area.
• 3+ years developing systems/software for large business environment platforms on Java.
• Experience implementing complex distributed systems and robust, highly scalable SaaS applications.
• Experience with AWS: ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, Kinesis, etc.
• Experience with database design for SQL (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Experience with build tools like Gradle and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leveraging Gen AI technologies to accelerate software engineering by designing prompts, rigorously evaluating outputs, and integrating LLMs.
• Excellent teamwork and communication; ability to work across multiple feature teams and product managers.

BILL is looking for a Software Engineer to join our dynamic Growth team. If you are passionate about driving user growth and improving customer experiences through innovative engineering solutions, this is the job for you! The Growth Engineering team focuses on optimizing the first-time experiences for our customers and driving towards directly impacting revenue, unit growth, and feature engagement within the product.

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed below. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits. The estimated salary ranges noted below roles in the specific geographic zones

Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area CA (includes HQ), New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles County

$130,000—$156,000 USD

Zone 2: CA (Non San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles County), Austin TX, Massachusetts

$117,000—$140,400 USD

Zone 3: Utah (includes Utah office), Dallas TX, Houston TX, Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, Colorado, Arizona, Georgia, Oregon, Pennsylvania

$110,500—$132,600 USD
