Software Engineer (FastSPICE Simulation)

We are looking for an R&D Software Engineer to join our world-class engineering team. This position is responsible for participating and creating the state-of-the-art circuit simulation technologies and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an R&D Software Engineer for SpectreFX, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of our circuit simulation technologies.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to innovate and create state-of-the-art solutions for FastSPICE, and mixed-signal simulation.
• Analyze and evaluate product issues, providing productive recommendations within broad parameters.
• Analyze customers' applications and propose implementation plans based on general objectives and knowledge of Cadence product architecture.

Position Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with excellent skills in C/C++ development in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Proven ability to quickly self-learn, adapt, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technologies in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with circuit simulation concepts (SPICE, FastSPICE, RF, mixed-signal) or EDA tools is highly desirable.
• Education: BS in CS/EE/Math/Physics plus 2 years of experience in C/C++ and EDA development, OR MS in CS/EE/Math/Physics.
• Fresh graduates with strong relevant backgrounds are welcome to apply.
