Qualifications

Responsibilities

Project Ownership

Take charge of significant software components, breaking down large tasks into manageable sub-tasks, prioritizing your work and setting clear, measurable goals for completion.

Programming

Use applicable programming languages and technologies to build functions from loosely defined requests. Write code, complete programming tasks and perform functional testing and debugging.

Code Development

Develop reusable code and create automation for deployment.

Testing

Write and execute functional test scenarios and scripts to ensure software quality.

Independent Work

Work independently on project components, providing periodic status updates.

Code Review

Perform complex code reviews for changes made by yourself and others.

Mentorship

Provide guidance and mentorship to new Software Engineers.

Troubleshooting

Offer troubleshooting assistance for production incidents.

Communication

Clearly articulate team roadblocks and effectively communicate them to stakeholders, including management, scrum master's and cross-functional teams.

Additional Duties

Fulfill additional duties as assigned, contributing to the team's overall effectiveness.

Requirements

• Accredited university, college (computer science or computer engineering), or trade school education and training in applicable technology; advanced degrees or relevant certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience focused on backend development with C#.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server relational database management system.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud computing services.
• Experience designing, building, testing, debugging, and maintaining scalable applications and services in a production environment.
• Experience working with Xunit and Injection for testing and debugging.
• Should have strong communication skills and be able to manage competing priorities effectively.
