Job summary

Best Version Media in the United States is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web solutions that meet client needs.

You will work across back‑end, front‑end and database layers using PHP, MySQL and Symfony, mentor junior engineers, and drive code quality, testing and CI/CD across projects.

Collaborative problem solving, attention to detail, and strong communication are essential in this role as you contribute to architecture and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in PHP and MySQL (MySQL).
• Familiarity with the Symfony framework.
• High attention to detail and experience with end-to-end testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication to understand user requirements and communicate during development.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience as a full-stack web developer with the ability to see a concept and turn it into a product; developing both the back-end, front-end and database interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Master programming languages, frameworks, and tools and execute complex technical tasks with minimal oversight.

• Lead the charge on improving code quality, performance, and scalability.

• Lead teams in project planning, task prioritization, and execution and act as the go-to person for technical decision-making and discussions.

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/management information systems or in a business relevant discipline
• 3-5 years experience in PHP and SQL, primarily MySQL
• Familiarity with the Symfony framework
• High attention to detail and experience with end-to-end testing
• Written and verbal communication skills to understand user requirements and properly communicate through project development
