Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related business discipline.
• 3–5 years experience in PHP and SQL (MySQL).

• Familiarity with the Symfony framework.
• Experience with end-to-end testing and QA practices.
• Clear written and verbal communication to understand requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have experience as a full-stack web developer with the ability to see a concept and turn it into a product; developing both the back-end, front-end and database interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Master programming languages, frameworks, and tools and execute complex technical tasks with minimal oversight.


• Contribute to the architectural design of software systems, including proposing scalable and efficient solutions.


• Mentor and guide junior engineers on coding standards and problem-solving strategies.


• Lead the charge on improving code quality, performance, and scalability.


• Champion automated testing and continuous integration to ensure top-tier software reliability.


• Lead teams in project planning, task prioritization, and execution and act as the go-to person for technical decision-making and discussions.

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/management information systems or in a business relevant discipline


• 3-5 years experience in PHP and SQL, primarily MySQL


• Strong front-end user interface skills including HTML5, Javascript, and CSS


• Familiarity with the Symfony framework


• High attention to detail and experience with end-to-end testing


• Written and verbal communication skills to understand user requirements and properly communicate through project development

What will make you stand out:

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub


• Sencha ExtJS, React, Angular or other Javascript framework experience


• Amazon Web Services experience including S3, EC2, and RDS.


• MongoDB
