Position: Software Engineer II

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Mateo, CA, to perform daily database operations including system scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting to maintain the PlayStation Network's data infrastructure. The role requires:

1. A Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. At least one (1) year of experience in system assessment, operational task automation, and solution design.
3. Experience enhancing database automation with GoLang and shell scripting.
4. Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) SDKs and deploying services on AWS cloud.
5. Experience working with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Aerospike, and Couchbase.
6. Knowledge of configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible.

Remote work or telecommuting may be permitted according to company policies. Salary range: $194,614 – $281,500 per year.
