Nelnet, Inc.'s Nelnet Business Services (NBS) is hiring a Software Engineer II to join the new Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) engineering team. You will help build a platform to collect donations, evaluate scholarship eligibility, and distribute funds, working on a .NET and Angular stack.

We're launching a brand-new Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) engineering team, building a platform from the ground up to help our partners collect donations, evaluate families for scholarship eligibility, and distribute funds. If you want to help build a new product from the ground up and grow your skills on a small, high-impact team, then this is that kind of role. As a Software Engineer II, you'll be a valuable member of our development team, working to transform customer needs into technical solutions. Our current stack is .NET and Angular, but we value engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn over specific tech experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of related experience.
Annual compensation range for this role is $100,000- $120,000
This position offers a hybrid work option. Nelnet values flexibility and understands the importance of work-life integration. Our hybrid work environment allows associates living within 30 miles of an office location to work remotely for part of the week, while also fostering collaboration and team connection through in-office presence three days per week.
